Collaboration with Paul Loupe [Pratt SOA 2023] on a revitalization project in the heart of historic Rome. A sensitivity to existing monuments is displayed while also accommodating the required program. Housing for religious pilgrims, an embedded museum, and a performance space all frame a modern-day piazza. Reused existing marble reliefs surround programmed space, while an excavation of the historic sewer system turns an ancient artifact into occupiable space.
